Har fått Länsstyrelsen Norrbottens samrådsbeslut ang genomförande av Swedish Alpine Ultra. Beslutet gällande skyddet av naturmiljön så har man ingen erinran att arrangemanget genomförs.
För att undvika skador på naturmiljön ska följande iakttagas:
Deltagarna ska följa Kungsleden genom nationalparken
Inga tillfälliga anordningar eller anläggningar får uppföras för arrangemanget
Ingen reklam får finnas på eller intill vandringsleden.

Enligt nationalparksföreskrifterna får kommersiell verksamhet ej bedrivas inom nationalparken.

Fram till dags dato har sju anmält sig till Swedish Alpine Ultra den 14 juli 2012. Detta är 6 fler än som anmält sig 2010 inför 2011 års lopp.
